Parks Canada host­ing in­for­ma­tion ses­sions this week

CHETICAMP — Parks Canada will be hold­ing two open houses for the Cape Breton High­lands Na­tional Park this week to let the pub­lic know what it can ex­pect in the way of new projects, road con­struc­tion and re­source con­ser­va­tion work for the up­com­ing sea­son.

The first ses­sion will take place in Chéti­camp on Wed­nes­day at Le Club Des Re­traites and the sec­ond ses­sion will be held in Cape North on Thurs­day at the Cabot Fire Hall.

Both ses­sions will run from 5-7 p.m.

Parks Canada will also be hold­ing two more ses­sions for the Fortress of Louis­bourg and Alexan­der Gra­ham Bell Na­tional His­toric Sites in May. In­for­ma­tion for these ses­sions will be pro­vided at a later date.
