With heavy hearts, we re­gret to an­nounce the pass­ing of Ritchie Camp­bell, age 62, on Sun­day, April 15, 2018 at home.

Born on April 17, 1955 in Syd­ney, Ritchie was the son of the late Cos­mos and Mae (Nap­man) Camp­bell.

Ritchie loved work­ing as an auto me­chanic. Over the years he worked at Pow­ers Truck­ing, Bridge­port Pav­ing and do­ing body work and painting cars with Joe Bragg and Windy MacDon­ald, as well as work­ing at East­side Auto Sal­vage. Richie en­joyed work­ing out in the yard do­ing me­chan­i­cal work and weld­ing floors and rocker pan­els in cars. He will be re­mem­bered by his fam­ily and friends for lov­ing the out­doors and help­ing those in need.

Ritchie leaves be­hind his wife, Cathy; chil­dren, Kyle, Justin (Lau­reen) and Ash­ley (Gordie); pappa’s pride and joy, Karter and Kae­lyn; sib­lings, Ed­die (Sharon), Kevin (Chris), Clif­ford, Blaine (Margie), San­dra, Heather (Dave), Caro­line, Sherry (Sandy) and Emma (Gor­don); as well as many nieces and neph­ews.

Besides his par­ents, Ritchie was pre­de­ceased by brothers, John (Nancy), Bernie and daugh­ter, Brittany in in­fancy.

Vis­i­ta­tion for the late Richard ‘Ritchie’ Wil­liam Camp­bell will be held at the Pier Com­mu­nity Fu­neral Home, 1092 Vic­to­ria Rd. (en­trance on Church Street) on Thurs­day, April 19, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Memo­rial ser­vice to cel­e­brate the life of the late Richard ‘Ritchie’ Wil­liam Camp­bell will be held Fri­day, April 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the All Faith Chapel with Fr. Paul Mur­phy of­fi­ci­at­ing.

Pri­vate fam­ily burial will take place at a later date.

Do­na­tions in mem­ory of Ritchie may be made to a char­ity of one’s choice.
