LeBLANC, Franklyn (Frank) Leo

-

On June 4, 2018 I sadly said goodbye to my best friend and partner. Born Oct. 19, 1945, to Chester (deceased 1975) and Evelyn LeBlanc.

Frank is survived by his wife, Terry (Theresa) Whalen LeBlanc; his children, Jennifer (George) Rice and Christopher LeBlanc and his grandchildren, Andrew Dicks and Evan and Elisa Rice. He is also survived by his mother, Evelyn; sisters, Theresa and Joan; brothers, Joe & Mike.

Frank was a hardworking man who started as a boy of 14 delivering prescriptions by bike for Polletts Drugstore and finished his working days in the machine shop at Sydney Steel in 2000.

Frank will be sadly missed by “his girls” and buddies at Tim Hortons as well as his many lifelong friends. His greatest passion was getting up bright and early Saturday mornings to go to yard sales with his buddy Simon.

Frank was predeceased by his father, Chester; a sister at birth; and in-laws, Vi and Ron Whalen. Donations can be made to charity of choice.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation 6-9 p.m. on June 23 and celebration of life at Chant’s Funeral Home on June 24th at 2 p.m with Rev. Sheldon Chant to officiate. Light lunch to follow.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of S.W. Chant and Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney.
