It is with such great sad­ness that we, the fam­ily of Ewen Fer­gu­son an­nounce his pass­ing at his home, sur­rounded by his lov­ing fam­ily. Ewen worked most of his life in the truck­ing busi­ness and in his re­tire­ment years en­joyed spend­ing time with his grand­chil­dren and great-grand­chil­dren, along with Ruth and “the boys.”

Ewen is sur­vived by his wife of 56 years Ruth (McQueen) Fer­gu­son; sons, Kevin (Michelle), Kenny (April), Paul (Dar­lene) and brother, Joe, as well as 7 grand­chil­dren and 4 great-grand­chil­dren which he was so very proud of. Be­sides his par­ents, he is pre­de­ceased by his broth­ers, Wil­fred, James and Win­ston as well as his sis­ters, Kay and Donna.

As per Ewen’s wishes, there will be no vis­i­ta­tion or ser­vice.

A cel­e­bra­tion of Ewen’s life will be held at Brooks Haven Hall, Alexan­dra Street, Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 14, 2018, from 2-4 p.m.
