Where to buy cannabis

IN NOVA SCOTIA

In Nova Scotia cannabis products will be sold through 12 NSLC locations. Retail outlets can be found in: Amherst Mall, Antigonish; Dufferin St., Bridgewate­r; Portland St., Dartmouth; Joseph Howe Drive, Halifax; Clyde Street, Halifax; Downsview Plaza, Lower Sackville; New Minas; Sydney River; Court St., Truro; Yarmouth; East Side New Glasgow. No medical cannabis will be available at these stores and online sales will start the same day. Online, the company warns of line ups and wait times due to the personaliz­ed consultati­ons offered to customers.

ON P.E.I.

The Prince Edward Island Cannabis Management Corporatio­n will oversee the operation of an e-commerce platform and four cannabis retail locations in Charlottet­own, Summerside, Montague and West Prince. Find outlets at 425 Granville St., Summerside; 509 Main St., Montague; 85 Belvedere Ave., Charlottet­own, and 478 Main Street, O'Leary. Medical cannabis will be available at these stores and the province also plans to offer seeds and seedlings for purchase, once a supply chain is secured.

IN NEWFOUNDLA­ND AND LABRADOR

In Newfoundla­nd and Labrador retailers must obtain a license from Cannabis NL, a division of the NLC. As of publicatio­n there are 25 locations currently approved, five of which are in the city of St. John's. Although an option, Cannabis NL urges medicinal users to stick to existing medical channels.

IN NEW BRUNSWICK

In New Brunswick cannabis products will be sold through Cannabis NB, a subsidiary of the New Brunswick Liquor Corporatio­n.
