FORGET, Frank Emile ‘Brick’

It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Emile Forget ‘Brick’, beloved husband, grandfathe­r, brother and friend, on December 7, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Sydney on November 29, 1932 to the late Eugene and Jeane (Lequichet) Forget.

Frank was a member of the RSMF 2BN Nova Scotia Highlander­s (CB) and the recipient of the Centennial Medal. Also a member of Branch 12 Royal Canadian Legion.

He was employed for many years at Island Distributo­rs, retiring in 1997.

Frank spent many years in Hillside Mira with family and friends having many campfires on the Mira River.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Isabel (Jones); grandsons, Jason (Jessica) Delaney, Halifax and Chad, Sydney; sisters, Jean Moore, Louise Wagner, Dorothy (Dodie) Clarke, all of Sydney, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Frank was predecease­d by his pride and joy, Sharon Delaney; brothers, Eugene, Ernest, Henry and Joseph; sisters, Albertine, Matilda Ferrar and Annie Purdy.

Frank has been cremated. No visitation or funeral. Burial at a later date. Under the direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel.
