HYNES, Natosha Lynn Glace Bay

-

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our daughter, sister, niece, aunt and mother, Natosha, age 49, on January 11, 2021 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, with her family by her side. Natosha is the daughter of Joann Dauphinee. Natosha lived in Glace Bay for eighteen years and then moved to Ontario. There she attended Loyalist College. It was while in Ontario that she received her greatest gift: her daughter Caelynn. Despite health challenges, she relished in spending time with and being Caelynn’s mom. As the saying goes, “There is nothing quite like a mother’s love.” Tosha’s strength and perseverance during her long battle with her health was the result of her love for her daughter. Tosha is survived by her mom, Joann; Daughter, Caelynn; Brothers, Jody (Annette) and Ryan (Shirley); Aunts, Betty (Bob), Chris, Leesa (Ralph) and Wendy; Uncle Jack, (Carolyn); nieces and nephews, Jordan, Trevor, Branden, Jodi, MacKenzie and Cam, who lovingly referred to her as ‘Aunt Tosh’; many cousins and Caelynn’s dad, Scott. Tosha was predeceased by her grandparents, Jack and Gertie Hynes; Father, Buster Jenkins and uncles Wayne, Billie, and Fabe. We would like to express our thanks to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Dialysis, ICU and Emergency staff nurses, for the compassion and care shown to Tosha. Family flowers only please. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 with Fr. Duaine Devereaux officiating, at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. (902) 849-4199. Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, seating is limited; Masks and socials distancing regulations must be adhered to. Thank you. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.tjtracey.com.
