There is a need for organizations across Cape Breton but specifically in Wreck Cove, Ingonish, Neils Harbour, Cape North, Pleasant Bay, Cheticamp, Margaree Harbour, Margaree Forks, Inverness and Port Hood. SATURDAY, JAN. 23

10 a.m., Hike Nova Scotia will hold a free snowshoe hike at Paquet’s Lake on the Cabot Trail, South Mountain near the village of Cape North. Those who wish to participate need to pre-register by contacting dixon.lisa@hotmail. com and bring their own snowshoes. It’s a 3-km easy rated hike and those participating are asked to meet in the parking lot for Paquet’s Lake.
