We, the family of John, can simply find no words that truly express our gratitude to everyone that surrounded us during the recent loss of our amazing father, brother, grandfather and friend. We wish to extend our love and appreciation to our many friends and relatives for their support through this difficult time. A sincere thank you to all who visited, phoned and sent food to our home; to those for their many prayers and blessings, cards and letters and those who gave spiritual enrollments, memorial and monetary donations as well as beautiful floral arrangements from family and the Eskasoni First Nations. A special thanks must recognize the exceptional care John received from his family physician Dr. Dawn Brown, Eugene Ignacio and the entire nursing staff on 4 West of the Northside General Hospital, Dr. Poulus, Dr. Burns and Holly Winn (RN) of the Palliative Homecare Program as well as the VON. A special thank you to Garlie Stubbert who took care of John in his remaining weeks at home. To Father Patrick O’Neil for a beautiful service and kind words; to the St. Joseph’s Church, alter servers, Reader (Marg McInnis) and pallbearers - Gill, Delton, Brandon, Ali, Ben and Pat. A special thank you to Manning Jobes and Jobes Funeral Home for their professionalism and effort in honoring John’s wishes during this time. Each and everyone of you will be remembered in our hearts, again I thank you and God Bless.
