SYDNEY — An Eskasoni man is to return to provincial court Friday for a bail hearing and is facing additional offences.

Jordan Noel Charles Denny, 34, was previously charged with six counts of breaching court orders, and single counts of sexual assault, intimidation of a potential witness, assault with a weapon (a knife), assault by choking, assault and uttering a threat.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between April and May in Eskasoni.

Denny was scheduled for a bail hearing but instead consented to a further remand.

He is now facing additional charges of four counts of breaching court orders by contacting an individual he was ordered to have no contact. Denny made contact while on remand in a provincial jail. He also faces charges of intimidation of a witness and obstructing justice.
