Sydney man to be sentenced on assault charges

SYDNEY — A 41-year-old Sydney man is now to be sentenced later this month after entering guilty on assault offences.

Bradley Shane Axworthy is to be sentenced on two counts of assault, two counts of uttering threats, and single counts of assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon and assault by choking.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between November and December 2020 in Sydney.

Axworthy, who was previously denied bail, is now scheduled to be sentenced June 22.
