MacISAAC, Anne Frances 'Fa'

It is with deep sadness and respect for a life well lived that we, the family of Frances MacIsaac announce her peaceful passing on June 15, 2021 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Frances was born May 17, 1928 to Dan and Annie (MacNeil) McCormick in Bridgeport. In early years Frances was an avid skater and golfer. She retired from MT&T with over 40 years of service and was fortunate to have been able to accomplish her 2 bucket list itemslearn­ing to quilt and travel.

The oldest member of her quilting group, she enjoyed spending her weekly classes socializin­g with the ladies. Over the years she travelled with family members visiting Paris, London and the Middle East with annual summer

road trips to the cottage in Lake Charlotte with her late sister, Jean. Frances was a devote Catholic and lifelong member of the CWL of the parish of Holy Redeemer, her and Jean travelled on many pilgrimage­s to St. Anne de Beaupre. Frances is survived by daughter, Raylene (Brian) Webber, Dartmouth and son, James, Sydney. Frances was the proud grandmothe­r to Jordan, Stephanie and Coady Webber. Besides her parents Frances was predecease­d by her husband, Raymond; son, Michl; brothers, Charles ‘Gib’ and Dan ‘Sander’ (Diane); sisters, Jean (Edward) McDougall and Helen (Jack) Pearson. Sincere thanks to the Palliative Care team of the hospital for their care of Frances in her time of need. Due to COVID restrictio­ns a private burial and service for the late Frances MacIsaac will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Frances, may be made to the Holy Redeemer Building fund or charity of one’s choice.
