Man airlifted to hospital after Richmond County crash
LYNCHES RIVER, N.S. — A 28-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Lynches River Tuesday. In a June 24 release, Richmond County District RCMP said officers responded to reports of a crash around 8:30 p.m.
Emergency services responded to the crash, determining an SUV failed to slow down enough to make a proper turn. The vehicle left the roadway and hit a utility pole before stopping in a ditch.
The 28-year-old driver was taken to hospital via LifeFlight. A 15-yearold passenger was unharmed.
The investigation is ongoing.
