Nova Scotia reports one new COVID-19 case in central zone
HALIFAX — Nova Scotia reported one new case of COVID-19 and one recovery on Thursday.
The new case in the central health zone is under investigation.
The number of active cases is unchanged at 50: 36 are in the central zone, four in the eastern zone, nine in the northern zone and one in the western zone. Nobody is in hospital. Nova Scotia Health Authority's labs completed 3,739 tests on Wednesday.
There have been 1,435,958 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered including 682,370 second doses.
Since April 1, there have been 4,248 positive COVID19 cases and 28 deaths. Cases range in age from under 10 to over 90. There are 4,170 resolved cases.
