Potential exposure to COVID-19 on Air Canada flight to Sydney

SYDNEY — A flight that arrived in Sydney on Sept. 6 has been flagged for potential exposure to COVID-19 in the latest update from Nova Scotia Health Public Health.

Air Canada 8230 was noted in Thursday’s evening press release regarding potential exposures to the virus.

The plane travelled from Montreal (1:15 p.m.) to Sydney (4:15 p.m.). Passengers, particular­ly those in rows 1218, seats C, D and F, should watch for symptoms up to, and including, Sept. 20.

The only other exposure site noted in Thursday’s update was a low-risk exposure at Costco on Chain Lake Drive in Halifax on Sept. 3 between 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Anyone exposed to the virus at this location may develop symptoms up to, and including Sept.17.
