CINDY SAYS: Last night’s light wind gave way to some very cool morning temperatures. As the day goes on, the wind will be anything but light. The southerly breeze will build ahead of a line of showers and thundershowers approaching from the west. We can expect wind gusts to 60 km/h across the region late today and overnight. While Thursday will also be quite windy, the wind direction will change, becoming westerly with gusts to 40 and 50 km/h. The drier brand of air will bring clearing and a fair day Friday. I see showers in our weekend forecast and more wind, with gusts to 50 km/h from the north on Sunday.
