Harris Tweed Hebrides
Harris Tweed has been a beloved Scottish fabric for over a century. Traditionally handwoven in the homes of islanders of the Outer Hebrides,
Harris Tweed today continues to use a specific artisan system of manufacturing and, thanks to the 1993 Harris Tweed Act of Parliament, can only be produced in its Outer Hebrides homeland. Established in 2007, and located on the Isle of Lewis, Harris Tweed Hebrides employs bold colours and state-of-the-art equipment for fashion, home furnishing, accessories, and more. The fabric has been featured in the work of designers Vivienne Westwood, Chanel, Alexander McQueen, among many others.
