Welshman Ryan Hackett has had a passion for roller coasters from a young age. His love for the ride kicked up a notch back in 1996, when he was among those selected to brave the Megafobia - a wooden rollercoaster at the Oakwood Theme Park in Pembrokeshire - before it officially opened to the public. That day, Hackett rode the coaster a total of 21 times. Hackett, now age 61, recently took his 6,000th turn on that very same rollercoaster. In an interview with CBC, he even referred to the Megafobia by the nickname “Maggie.”
