Celtic Life International
St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival
March 12 & 13, 2022 • St. Augustine, Florida
After a short hiatus, the St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival returns in 2022 to celebrate the rich Celtic heritage that runs through Florida's veins. As America's Oldest Celtic City, St. Augustine was founded in 1565 by Spanish Celts from Asturias. It was also home to the country's first Irish priest, Father Ricardo Artur, who, in 1601, led the very first St. Patrick procession. As is tradition, this year's gathering kicks off with a rousing St. Patrick's Day Parade in the city's historic downtown core. Following the march, the gathering moves to the nearby events field for two full days of live performances from top national and international musical acts and an array of other activities, including the St. Augustine Highland Games. A family-friendly event, guests are welcome to stroll through the grounds and enjoy a whiskey tasting, workshops, lectures, food, artisan works, and imported Celtic merchandise.
