SCOTS-IRISH LINKS, 1525-1825: CONSOLIDATED EDITION. In Two Volumes
This work is the result of nearly thirty years of intermittent research in the National Records of Scotland, National Library of Scotland, Public Record Office of Northern Ireland, National Archives of the UK, and University of St Andrews for the purpose of identifying persons of ScotsIrish (Ulster Scot) heritage. The references cited by the author include wills, testaments, deeds, sasines, family papers, burgess rolls, contemporary journals, newspapers, and more.
These contents were originally published in fifteen parts as follows: Scots-Irish Links, 1575-1725 (11 parts); Later Scots Irish Links, 1725-1825 (3 parts); and Scots-Irish Links, 1825-1900 (1 part). The 15,000 Ulster Scot subjects of the original volumes were arranged in alphabetical order; however, those books were not indexed. Accordingly, we have now attached a full-name index to the back of each of these consolidated volumes, providing the reader with a straightforward way of identifying the astounding 33,000 kinsmen of the founders of the Ulster Plantation. No other work comes even close to aggregating this many of people of Scots-Irish provenance. It is available as a two-volume set, at a discounted price, or by individual volume.
