Emerging Designer Competition

To Jan 30 A jury that included DL editor Tory Healy selected Alex Josephson of architecture firm Partisans as the 2015 recipient of the Design Exchange’s Emerging Designer award. The firm made a splash last year with Bar Raval on College Street, the interior of which is wrapped in a swooping mahogany structure. Models and drawings of the firm’s next undertakings will be displayed, as will images of work by category winners Margherita Porra (graphic design), Yenting Chen (fashion) and Jessica Nakanishi (industrial design).
