Winter Stations

Feb 13-Mar 19 Zip up your parka and head to the Beach for this mid-winter pick-me-up showcasing designs by local and international architecture firms, as well as students, artists and design professionals. Thirteen large-scale installations, each built around a utilitarian lifeguard stand, respond to the theme “Freeze/ Thaw.” Last year’s stations included a pine cone–shaped, geodesic structure and a monolithic black shelter with soundproofed walls.
