?? ??  Instead of forcing one low-pressure fuel supply system to keep both the CP4.2 and CP3 happy, Cain decided to leave the factory lift pump assembly in place and install a FASS system for the CP3. This way, the higher pressure (50-55psi) system supports the CP4.2 just as it was intended, while the 95gph FASS system is dedicated solely to sending 15 psi toward the CP3.

?? ??  Supplying each lift pump system individually begins with a BFS tank sump from River City Diesel. The internally baffled sump features dual ½-inch NPT ports, with the bottom ½-inch hose shown here snaking over to the FASS system and the top hose tying into the factory ½-inch supply line along the frame rail.
