Pass the honey & almonds, honey
Inland from the Spanish Costa Blanca is the city of Murcia. Here, the farmers of Murcia, Andalucia and the Valencian community harvest honey from acres of organically grown wildflowers and create a silky, golden honey that is smooth and, amazingly, does not drip. The delicate scent of wildflower essence is in every spoonful. For most honey producers, that would be enough, but for e’coato, it’s just the beginning. They add a big helping of certified organic Marcona almonds to every jar. Toast a thick slice of bread, add a drizzle of Spanish olive oil, and spoon on the honey and almonds. Es muy bueno.
