Man killed in crash
Anzac / A 20-year-old man is dead after the car he was in crashed into the back of a loaded logging truck on a secondary highway in northern Alberta.
At about 9:45 p.m. Monday, police were called to the scene of the crash on Secondary Highway 881 south of Anzac. A logging truck had turned southbound onto the highway when it was rear-ended by a car.
The car’s passenger was killed, while the 23-year-old man driving the car sustained minor injuries. The logging truck driver, a 56-year-old man, was not hurt.
