The Journal, Feb. 3. This article about the East still dominating the West is disappoint­ing, again Trudeaubas­hing the Liberal party for “ignoring” Alberta in the past, even when the present Prime Minister and several key cabinet members are from here.

All this richest jurisdicti­on in all of North America has to do is implement policies that would be the envy of the rest of Canada, instead of placing priority on merely balancing its budget.

Expressing envy against Ontario and Quebec because they have a larger population serves no useful purpose. Alberta has the resources to become the most popular province in our country rather than the opposite, by thinking positively not negatively.
