Watch the chariot procession and feast on free vegetarian delights at the Chariot Festival of India, established in 1979 and touring North America ever since. Twenty-seven brightly coloured tents house artworks, entertainment, and philosophical questions and answers. The festival, which has made stops in New York City, Chicago and Montreal this year, makes its way from the Sri Sri Radha Govindaji Vedic Cultural Society up 97th Street, east on 39th Avenue, down 91st Street and west on 34th Avenue before heading back to its starting point.

Wars TV show called “Weiner Wars.” Plus, rescue dachshunds, vendors and doggy spa services will be on-site. Bring along your dachshund, dachshund cross, or small dog under 20 pounds. Proceeds go to help Alberta Dachshund Rescue.
