ARNOLD, Darlene Celestine (nee Feser)

December 24, 1944 - December 4, 2012 Darlene Celestine Arnold (nee Feser) passed away peacefully in Edmonton on December 4, 2012, after a long, courageous and incredibly fought battle against heart disease. She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband Bernie of 44 years, daughters Laura and Tricia, son- in- law Dan, and granddaugh­ter Ava. Her siblings Don (Shirley), Del (Kathy), Judy (Neil), Rod (Elaine), Karen, and Peggy (Stan) will miss her greatly, as well as Bernie’s siblings Joanne (Syl), Denny (Annette), Terry (Bob) and Debbie ( deceased), and many nieces, nephews and friends. Darlene has joined her parents, Paul and Pauline, in heaven. As a teacher, friend, and confidant, Darlene made the world a better place, one life at a time. Thank you, Darlene, for everything. Darlene’s Prayer Service will be on Friday, December 7 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Albert Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish at 75 Poirier Avenue in St. Albert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Darlene’s memory to the Mazankowsk­i Heart Institute, where she received excellent care. Thank you Drs. Kim, Sharma, Buchholz, MacArthur, and Singh, as well as Selvi and Shannon—you became trusted friends. Thank you also to all staff on the third, fourth and fifth floors for the difference you made.
