Harsh policies Klein’s legacy

It is amazing that many Albertans are silent about some of the harsh economic policies of former premier Ralph Klein.

Alberta’s minimum wage and social assistance rates are among the lowest in the country.

Klein refused to implement rent controls and to build subsidized housing. He was hostile to the unions and to environmentalists.
