Protest vote goes to Diotte

Re: “Race for mayor is on: Leibovici enters contest; City councillor touts experience, understanding of issues,” the Journal, June 14. With Coun. Kelly Diotte running for mayor, voters have a chance to send a clear message to city hall.

Anyone who has been unhappy over the past 10 years with the arena deal, ballooning city staff, the current $3-billion city debt, potholes, tax increases and failing infrastructure, or concerned about Coun. Karen Leibovici’s tax-and-visionary spending agenda, can send a strong message on Oct. 21.
