Let’s see your Wayne Gretzky memorabilia
We’re marking the anniversary of The Great One’s trade on Aug. 9, and we’d like you to be a part of it.
What we’re looking for: A photo of you with your favourite piece of Gretzky memorabilia, along with a brief explanation of what it means to you.
We’ve seen many different people with their prized Gretzky keepsakes so far, be they hockey cards, photos, jerseys, sticks, life-size cut-outs or action figures. Show us your shrines (we’ve seen some pretty good ones already!) or perhaps you had your photo taken with Wayne back in the day — take a new photo of you with your cherished memorabilia.
We’re looking to show the faces of the many Gretzky fans we know exist, particularly in the City of Champions, a moniker which Gretzky helped forge during his spectacular run in Edmonton.
What’s yours? We want to see it! Nothing’s too big or small.
