Member of Bieber entourage arrested on cocaine charge

-

Justin Bieber may be the one left with egg on his face.

Police investigating a complaint against the singer have arrested one of his entourage on a drug charge.

Police are investigating the Baby singer for allegedly causing $20,000 in damage to his neighbour’s house in an egg-throwing incident.

On Tuesday morning, 11 Los Angeles County Sheriff’s cruisers pounced on chez Bieber, executing a search warrant related to the eggs-capade.

Deputies are investigating Bieber, 19, for the incident last week. The Canadian singer lives in a gated celebrity enclave in Calabasas, Calif., about 50 kilometres northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

TMZ reports that one of Bieber’s entourage — wannabe rapper Lil Za — was arrested at the singer’s mansion for felony possession of cocaine.

A police source told the website the cocaine was in plain view.

Sources told TMZ police were looking for security video or anything else connected to the egging incident that Bieber’s neighbour says he captured on video. But the pop star’s luck could be scrambled: Because the alleged damage totals more than $400 it’s a felony search warrant. If found guilty, the troubled singer could be taking his act to San Quentin. Police say Bieber was home at the time and was co-operating with the investigation.

“Justin’s camp believe he is being unfairly targeted by the police,” a friend told TMZ, adding police had a “battering ram” at the scene.
