Witness to a real snow job

- LET TERS EDITOR : KAREN BOOTH, 780 - 429-5558;

Around 10 a.m. on March 22, I witnessed a snowplow going down 122nd Street at 51st Avenue. I’m sure the drivers behind him were quite relieved that the plow was moving approximately one millimetre of snow out of their way, and creating a massive windrow of at least one centimetre.

Didn’t someone go out ahead of time to see what roads needed plowing? Could the driver not have called in and alerted someone there was nothing to plow?

I am constantly amazed at how we allow City Hall to waste our tax dollars.
