Man killed in dirt-bike crash

A 21-year-old man was killed in a dirt-bike crash outside of Grande Prairie.

The man lost control of the motorcycle at 8:50 p.m. Sunday on Canfor Road, about two kilometres south of the Weyerhaeuser turnoff, and went over an embankment on the side of the road. The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Police say alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
