Here’s a look at the number of players drafted by the other 29 NHL teams since 2000, and how many had gone into the 2013-2014 season having played a game. ANAHEIM DUCKS: 85 picks, 37 have played at least a game

Worth noting: Scored two key picks in 2003 selecting Ryan Getzlaf (19th overall) and Corey Perry (28th).

BOSTON BRUINS: 83 picks; 41 have gone on to play

BUFFALO SABRES: 90 picks; 35 have played

CALGARY FLAMES: 91 picks; 35 have played

CAROLINA HURRICANES: 76 picks; 26 have played

Worth noting: Of the six picks the Hurricanes made in 2009, not one had gone into the 2013-14 season having played an NHL game.

CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS: 117 picks; 43 have played

Worth noting: Only player to advance out of nine 2006 picks was Jonathan Toews (3rd overall). Had 17 picks in 2004, starting with Cam Barker, who was their third overall selection. He spent last season in the KHL.

COLORADO AVALANCHE: 96 picks; 41 have played

Worth noting: Of the nine picks made in 2009, the first four have all played for Avs: Matt Duchene, Ryan O’Reilly, Stefan Elliott and Tyson Barrie

COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS: 105 picks; 46 have played

Worth noting: Have struck out with some of their top picks, a list that includes: Alexandre Picard (8th overall in 2004); Gilbert Brule (6th, 2005) and Nikita Filatov (6th, 2008). DALLAS STARS: 88 picks; 33 have played

DETROIT RED WINGS: 85 picks; 26 have played

FLORIDA PANTHERS: 97 picks; 36 have played

LOS ANGELES KINGS: 103 picks; 41 have played

Worth noting: After drafting Drew Doughty with the second pick overall in 2008, the Kings selected Colten Teubert (13th). He played just 24 games before heading to Germany. The Oilers grabbed Jordan Eberle with the 22nd pick at that draft.

MINNESOTA WILD: 84 picks; 43 have played

MONTREAL CANADIENS: 85 picks; 38 have played Worth noting: In 2010, the Canadiens nabbed sparkplug Brendan Gallagher with the 147th selection.

NASHVILLE PREDATORS: 97 picks; 41 have played Worth noting: Scored Ryan Suter (7th) and Shea Weber (49th) in 2003. In between picks, selected Konstanin Glazachev (no games) and Kevin Klein (now with the New York Rangers).

NEW JERSEY DEVILS: 91 picks; 37 have played

NEW YORK ISLANDERS: 93 picks; 42 have played

Worth noting: All seven picks in 2009 have played, most notably John Tavares (first overall). Did miss with Robert Nilsson in 2003 (15th overall) and Ryan O’Marra (15th in 2005), both of whom were traded to Edmonton for Ryan Smyth in 2007.

SAN JOSE SHARKS: 83 picks; 37 have played Worth noting: All six of the Sharks’ 2001 picks went on to play, including Marcel Goc, Christian Ehrhoff and Ryane Clowe. Left the table in 2003 with Milan Michalek (6th), Steve Bernier (16th), Matt Carle (47th) and Joe Pavelski (205th).
