Henderson eyes turning pro
NIAGARA FALLS, ONT. — Brooke Henderson, 16, isn’t ruling out turning pro sooner rather than later after finishing as the top amateur at the U.S. Women’s Open. But the teen from Smiths Falls, Ont., says she remains committed to a scholarship at the University of Florida after high school.
Henderson finished 10th at the Open, but didn’t get much time to celebrate. She’s competing in the second stop of the season for the Canadian Women’s Tour in Niagara Falls this week.
