Back at the beach house, an increasingly frustrated Mike (Aaron Tveit) ignores the rules in his obsessive quest to get some answers in the Solano case, but has to admit he’s not going to get very far without the help of Briggs (Daniel Sunjata). An assault on a prison van leaves two female inmates dead and sets four free in the new episode Ambush. One of the fugitives (guest star Erin Wilhelmi) witnessed the murder of Cat’s (Chyler Leigh) father, giving the police detective added incentive to join the hunt. Eventually, with Leo (Jacky Ido) by her side, Cat gets some new information about her dad’s fate. (NBC — 11 p.m.)
Motive
A diner owner (guest star Jennifer Irwin) dies in a fire at her business in Abandoned, an episode that aired earlier on CTV. The killer is thought at first to be the victim’s exconvict son (guest star Max Lloyd Jones). However, the perpetrator actually is a vengeful ex-employee (guest star Zoe De Grand’Maison) who was starting a romance with the son. (CTV — 8 p.m., ABC — 11 p.m.)
Suits
When Logan Sanders (Brendan Hines) is summoned to the SEC for questioning, Harvey (Gabriel Macht) tries to seize the opportunity to put an end to the takeover of Gillis Industries. Mike (Patrick J.
