Edmonton- area hospitals
Albertans are now able to search for details on the conditions of all the hospitals in the province — from a facility’s current infrastructure woes and the size of its repair bill, to its occupancy and infection rates, and whether it’s a priority for provincial funding. The database, built by the Edmonton Journal as part of a five-month investigation, was compiled using reports and information obtained from Alberta Infrastructure and Alberta Health Services, and by speaking with health professionals and patients who use the facilities.
Here are basic details about the hospitals in the Edmonton area. For comprehensive information, search the database at www.edmontonjournal.com/ conditioncritical.
