Partisan automatons

-

Re: “Lose the battle, but win the war,” Graham Thomson, April 25 Jim Prentice’s controversial look-in-the-mirror admonitory perspective was evoked in the columnist’s prediction of an inevitable re-election of a PC government. Predicting electoral outcome involves hardly any analytical challenge.

For Albertans — those who look back at us in the proverbial mirror — have time and again marked an X on the ballot to return a PC government. No government has forced our hand to make us do that. Will we behave as partisan automatons on May 5, even at the risk of proving right Prentice’s metaphor? Eugene Ip, Edmonton
