Sit out this election

Re: “Best interests of Albertans, or big oil?” Ideas, Kevin Taft, April 29 and “Who’ll maintain the Alberta Advantage?” Ideas, Jack M. Mintz, April 28

Kudos to Kevin Taft for enlightening Albertans about the real Jack Mintz. With his personal connections and allegiance to Imperial Oil, why should we believe any of Mintz’s statements, such as raising corporate taxes one per cent would cost 9,000 jobs? That didn’t happen in B.C.

I suggest the professor return to his corporate chair at Imperial Oil and sit this one out.
