GoDaddy to part ways with Patrick
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Danica Patrick is losing GoDaddy as her primary car sponsor.
The Internet domain giant has decided to pull its NASCAR sponsorship of Patrick’s No. 10 Chevrolet. Patrick, 33, is in the final year of her contract at StewartHaas Racing and landing a primary sponsor could be key to her stock-car future.
“I’m a little surprised and I’m sad,” Patrick said Wednesday. “But to say I didn’t imagine this was not a scenario would be a lie.”
