Mandel’s campaign admits to error

-

A group of seniors cried foul Thursday after getting pamphlets from Tory candidate Stephen Mandel’s campaign directing them to the wrong polling station in Edmonton-Whitemud.

Mandel’s campaign manager immediately apologized, saying a volunteer must have made a mistake.

Mandel’s volunteers have been handing out pamphlets with his name, a reminder to vote and the address for each residents polling station.

Seniors at Horizon Village Whitemud received cards Wednesday.

It told them to vote at Mother Margaret Mary High School.

But the Elections Alberta cards delivered by Canada Post several days earlier told them to vote at George H. Luck Elementary, two kilometres north of the high school.
