Signs expelled from school property
Campaign signs outside two schools that thanked Athabasca-Sturgeon-Redwater candidate Jeff Johnson for school renovations shouldn’t have been put up on school property, the Sturgeon local of the Alberta Teachers’ Association said Thursday.
The ATA local posted messages on Twitter and Facebook yesterday saying it did not approve the campaign signs posted without permission outside Namao School and Sturgeon Composite High School. The signs were not associated with the schools or parents, and were removed, the ATA local said.
