Indie-rock star Mac DeMarco is coming home.

The Edmonton-bred musician will perform Nov. 3 at Union Hall, as part of his never-ending tour. Ticket info has yet to be announced.

DeMarco will be releasing his next EP, Another One, on Aug. 7. It’s the followup to his 2014 album, Salad Days, which landed on numerous best-of lists and earned him a Juno nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

DeMarco, who just turned 25, recently played Coachella and Shaky Knees, a festival in Atlanta, Georgia, where he made headlines for briefly joining The Strokes on stage.

Tickets are $67.95 to $87.95. On sale: Friday at Ticketmaster.ca.

River Cree closed its venue, a white tent, in March, due to safety code issues.

The resort and casino will erect a new temporary structure later this year. According to rivercreetickets.com, the venue will be ready for Great White and Slaughter’s Oct. 9 show.

Yankovic is touring his 14th album, Mandatory Fun.
