Henderson gets tourney invite
OTTAWA — Teen golf star Brooke Henderson has been invited to play in another major women’s championship tournament.
The 17-year-old Canadian has been granted a ‘sponsor’s exemption’ into the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Westchester Country Club in Harrison, N.Y., on June 11-14. That’s two days before the start of a Canadian Women’s Tour event at her home course, Ontario’s Smiths Falls Golf and Country Club.
