Event: 2015 Cappies Gala When: June 7 Where: Citadel Theatre (9828 101A Ave.) What: The eighth annual awards gala celebrating excellence in high school theatre. Featuring: Mesmerizing performances and show excerpts, awards doled out for 42 categories to 23 participating schools — and some serious people-watching. Highlights: Notable wins included J.H. Picard’s production of Amadeus taking best play, W.P. Wagner’s Malcolm Vick for best lead actor in a play, and Strathcona High School’s Siobhan Galpin for best lead actress in a musical.
