Vets, injured players out for Saturday

Eskimos head coach Chris Jones wouldn’t give names on Thursday, but said that he’d have a lot of veteran players and guys who are injured sitting out of Saturday’s pre-season date with the Riders.

That will likely include defensive tackle Almondo Sewell and receiver/returner Kendial Lawrence, who were absent from training camp for the second day in a row on Thursday. Offensive lineman Andrew Jones was back in action, after missing all of this week with a slight injury.
