Music prodigy faces drug accusations

-

NEW YORK — A promising classical musician from the U.K. faces five years in a Chilean prison after allegedly being caught dealing cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy.

Alexander Harrild, 29, moved to Chile to pursue his career as a French horn player, but told a court in Santiago that he turned to crime after a separate business venture struggled.

Harrild faces up to five years in Santiago’s brutal Uno prison — a gang-ridden and overcrowded jail.
