Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), and his company have become so battle-hardened they are reluctant to trust the apparent safety of their new home, and Rick’s resistance begins to cause a schism among the Alexandrians. In the aptly named season ender Grand Finale Cook-Off, three kid chefs battle it out one last time to win a $20,000 culinary scholarship and their own Foodnetwork. com web series. First, though, they’ll have to impress a tough panel of Chopped judges that includes Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli, Amanda Freitag and Marcus Samuelsson. (Food Network)
FORGIVE ME
The drama that breaks the seal of the Catholic confessional is back for a second season. The series stars Mike McLeod as a young priest straining under the growing weight of his congregation’s confessions while trying to protect a secret of his own. Ed Asner and Wendy Crewson join the cast in supporting roles. In the premiere, the priest has to choose between medical treatments to try to save his life or embrace his ghostly visions as visitations from the saints. (Super Channel)
90 DAY FIANCE
Six new couples use a unique visa that allows foreigners into the U.S. to live with their fiancés for the first time and decide over the course of 90 days whether to marry or not, as this unscripted series returns for a third season with the new episode Departures and Arrivals. Couples for this season include: Fernando, 39, of Miami, and Carolina, 22, from Colombia; Josh, 22, of Rexburg, Idaho, and Aleksandra, 21, from Russia; and Loren, 27, of New York and Alexei, 27, from Israel. The case is personal for Raven (Hayley Kiyoko), in the new episode Heart Me, as a friend’s (guest star Lyndon Smith), life is completely wrecked by a hacker who evidently got cyber-access via a dating app. Matters take an even more complicated turn when the perpetrator is found dead — with the friend in possession of the related weapon, though she maintains she doesn’t know what happened. In a new episode called A Matter of Geography, problems from the past keep rearing their ugly heads as Kevin, Nora and Jill (Justin Theroux, Carrie Coon, Margaret Qualley) try to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of the Mapleton riots. Nora makes an impulsive choice, while Kevin finds himself drawn into the problems of John and Erika Murphy (Kevin Carroll, Regina King), and their family. (HBO Canada)
