Two of the biggest American bands of the 20th century — Chicago, and Earth, Wind & Fire — will bring their Heart and Soul Tour to the new Rogers Place on Saturday, Nov. 5.

The tour kicked off last year in California and will continue this summer and fall in 15 Canadian and U.S. cities, including Calgary, Montreal and Vancouver.

Tickets, ranging from $45 to $125, go on sale to the general public through Ticketmaster on Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. There is a pre-sale for American Express cardholders starting Tuesday, June 21.

The two bands have sold more than 200 million albums and have 20 Grammy nominations between them.

Chicago, formed in 1967, described themselves as a “rock-and-roll band with horns” and had a steady stream of hits over the decades.

The membership has changed over the years — the remaining original members are Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, James Pankow and Walter Parazaider.

Earth, Wind & Fire formed in 1971 and has sold more than 90 million albums featuring their soul/funk/R & B sound. Co-founders Philip Bailey, Verdine White and Ralph Johnson continue to tour with the band.
